Advice From Europe

Der Spiegel summarizes German reactions to the debt ceiling deal with this little tidbit included, taken from Die Tageszeitung:
"Nevertheless, the American savings package is very problematic in the long-term. The US should not have made puny cuts, but rather have made extravagant spending increases. They need a new economic stimulus package in order to fight the high levels of unemployment."
Extravagant spending increases are necessary. Das ist gut, mein herr!

Hmm, on second thought, tell you what - you guys do it first and let us know how that all works out.
