ESPN Fantasy Projection: It defies logic: Take away any semblance of a downfield receiving threat, and Brady gets better? The Patriots banished Randy Moss four games into the '10 season, and somehow Brady earned the NFL's first unanimous MVP award and ended the year with nine straight games with multiple TD passes and zero picks. While it's true that Brady's yardage total went down, his completion rate and yards per attempt held steady, meaning he threw less but was just as effective. A stress fracture in his foot may have hastened the Patriots' playoff exit and the injury did require surgery, but he's expected to be fine for '11. Brady doesn't have 4,400-yard upside without a field-stretching receiver, but he's still about the league's safest bet to finish among the top five fantasy QBs.
